I teach an Encore class now which is exercise based but also gives ladies the opportunity to really connect with others who have experienced breast cancer. There is no doubt that it changes your outlook on life - most women who have had breast cancer no longer take any crap on in their lives that they don't want in there! It's not such a bad thing!
Good luck and best wishes to everyone who is having tests and surgery - I have just been given another reprieve and I'm at 4 years post op (nearly). The cysts are a pain - they seem to panic and want to biopsy anything new and I am like you ladies; I have accepted that I will be overly anxious at checks forever!
