Hello Sue, I am so glad to hear from you. I saw the Breast Surgeon on Monday anbd has recommended that I have a bilateral masectomy. (I previously had a lumpecomy and wide excision before I was tested positive for braca 2) At first they said that it wasn't necessary as I was being looked after then the other other day the Surgeon explained that if I got another cancer it would be agressive and harder to treat a second time. Hence I am booked in to have surgery in the next 3 Months. On top of that my blood pressure went up dangerously high and I am on a different blood pressure tablet that has brought it down but I also have bi-lateral hyponephisis and have to see a urologist to possibly put a stent in to unblock my urether. Needless to say, I was very overwhelmed and a bit teary on Monday Night. I have had so much support from my Friends offering their help that I am amazed and have accepted the decision to have my breasts removed as I know it is the best thing to do.
