Arimidex
I have been reading through the blogs about Arimidex and found them very interesting. I have been on Arimidex for 6 months and up until 4 weeks ago, "side affects free" - until now that is.

Hi to you all,
my name is finita ,and next month I will turn 62 .
March 15th 2013 I was diagnosed with invasive ductal breast cancer and had the lumpectomy plus 3 nodes removed and 6 weeks of radiation therapy .
I have been reading all your comments on Arimidex side effects for the last hour. What a true blessing to know that it is not in my head and that all the side effects are in fact real. I have been taking it for six months and not feeling all that great...gain weight, pains and aches , sweating etc... today I was doing some gardening which I so dearly love, but was almost in tears with pain and fatigue ...very frustrating as I have always been very active and now I seem to have to continuously push myself to do things. I started to go off at my husband for no reason , I have since apologised and made him understand that it is the medication and that I will try to learn more about it so as to learn to live with it.
My mother is a cancer surviver and is now 86yrs , but sadly I lost one sister at the age of 47,... 10 yearas ago .
I am still waiting to have the Brack test done . I can see that I am not alone in all of this and I almost feel normal after reading your comments.
I am having my yearly mammogram and an ultrasound on March and results on the 25th ...I do admit that I am kind of anxious and nervous and I do try not to think about it but it isn't easy . I still do lots of walking and bike riding when is not windy but I do tired easily and I don't enjoy it as much as I used to because of the fatigue. Just about everthing is now a struggle and that is something that my brain does not compute !
