Hi Bella
I feel for you and I know where you're coming from. I agree; I continually have the experience of medicos "expecting" one's side effects to have subsided or even totally stopped months or years into hormone treatment. This is totally unrealistic. Whilst it's good to be positive "set your mind" to think a certain way, we certainly don't imagine it.
With your walking, may I suggest (from experience) that you start out with 10 mins a day. The trick is not to unnecessarily push yourself. Also, with your feeling down-I can relate to this as well. At the moment, when I thought I'd got on top of it. Then came stresses associated with elderly family member in an elderly care facility, and my 2 sisters and I not always agreeing on strategies!
My secret weapon? Listening to comedy audio books! At the moment, it's "Is it Just Me" by Miranda Hart. It's laugh out loud funny, & the best thing to take the mind off woes.
This forum is wonderful for support and sharing-good for venting!
Take care & I hope you feel a lot better real soon.
Kind regards
