I was 67 when diagnosed. I had letrozole rather than tamoxifen, for ten years. Letrozole tends to chomp up your bone density so worth asking about that and other common side effects.Remember, you can always stop if the side effects are unacceptable. No treatment is guaranteed, but they are recommended on the grounds of known effectiveness. Give it a shot.
