Hi @PV123. I have just got home after second Paclitaxel and straight to the loo with a bout of diarrhoea. After the first infusion I also had one episode of diarrhoea but it took a couple of hours longer to happen. It was only one episode so didn’t worry. It looks like it may be an ongoing side effect - maybe the steroids even??. I came on to ask the same question as you have. If it is limited to one episode this time as well I won’t be too concerned. Time will tell. I think you should contact your oncologist or chemo nurse ASAP about the black stool though just to make sure things are ok. Let me know how you get on and I will compare notes as treatment continues. Chemo sure gives you classy conversation starters doesn’t it? 😉😘
