1st Oncology Appt

Went to my first oncology appointment yesterday, while I was apprehesive about this, I have come out of this appointment with direction.

OK they are saying that my cancer is being driven by Hormones ie P+ & E+.  Shortfall is that my contraception needs to be removed as this is helping the P+ and after chemo has been done, they have said that my other ovary needs to be removed.  Looks like a full hysterectomy is on its way. 

As I am pre-menopausal I will also be on HRT for 10 years.

Chemo is all set to begin on 22/10, this is just over 2 weeks away, as I have struggled with recovery after the Lymph node removal, they have put chemo in place 5.5 weeks after my op to give me time to recover.  Arm is still causing a bit gyp, I guess it will just take time.
