Having mets means redefining everything. It is difficult because not only do we have to get use to the diagnosis , treatment, people's reactions, our own emotions etc, we also have to recalibrate every single aspect of our life. It is a massive change. Go gently. Get counselling if you need that. Ask for help if you need it. We are all here to support you.
