Hi Hendrix,I started with I V Abraxine for 6 months then went on to Xeloda tabs until they started to fail and the side effects were causing alot of pain in my feet. I then went onto Aromison for about 2 years but sadly that started to fail and scans showed more bone mets. I had Afinitor tabs for a short period, but they caused high temps and flu like symptoms. So now I'm back on IV Abraxine which I started last December. Over 12 months ago. Its not really that bad . I get time off for good behavior and can go away for a week or 2. My oncologist even gave me my birthday off last year ,so I really celebrated. Really we are lucky that there is treatment available when one treatment starts to fail. It would be good to get more treatment on the PBS. though.
