Hi I had to have an extraction whilst on denosunab, my oncologist actually suspended the injections for three months whilst my mouth healed, my local dentist referrred me to the Dental hospital in Adelaide as she wanted me treated by a specialist, this all went well and I resumed the denosunab injections which i have now been on for over three years,so long as your dentist is aware of what treatment you are on it should be fine, I even went back to my local dentist as I was having trouble with a mouth ulcer and she shaved a bit of my tooth back for me to help, My oncologist is kept up to date with all my treatment and at the moment my teeth are the best they have ever been, as i am on a disabilty pension my mouth care is looked after by our local dental hospital and for any other treatment she feels i need i am referred to the Adelaide Dental Hospital,I have always been treated resepctfully and am classed as a vulnerable peron in terms of dental care, due to my advanced breast cancer diagnosis, I have always been looked after and have been told to let them know any time that I need dental care.
