Found an old discussion from Kari_2015. Just wanted to let ladies know that I have been on Herceptin for 13yrs. Managing to keep lesions only in bone so pretty happy with that... Only know one other ...

Hello, This is my first time on this site. I was diagnosed in February this year, so have had right breast masectomy, in April started chemo for 18 weeks and herceptin and then radiation. I am now on three week herceptin. Had most of my right lymph nodes out and it has spread into my lungs. I am feeling pretty great but have now lost all my iron so am feeling pretty washed out, my oncologist today has put me down for a colonoscopy to see if that is where I am loosing blood that is affecting the iron levels in my blood. I told him it was probably all the blood tests I have been having, but he didn't see the humor in that. Love to hear that there are so many of you that have had long term success with herceptin treatment.
