Connie, there are quite a number of us in the same situation. However we all differ in the nature of the disease and the means of and response to treatment. As a fellow metster, one thing i have learned is that there are no certainties. All we can do is make the best of whatever we face. I am a lot older than you and have been living with bone and liver mets for nearly 2 years. The first year was pretty horrible, with lots of chemo and the adjustment to diagnosis. But last year, I was stable with minimal side-effects and tried to make hay while the sun shines. I know of a number of younger women also living with ABC; you might try looking at the aussie breast cancer network as well.
