eddiek .... My husband was on Capecitibine/Xeloda & had peeling of hands & feet ...
It is important that you get checked out by a podiatrist regularly and even start moisturizing your hands & feet before you even start the tablets, if possible .... as the podiatrist can examine your feet (in particular) as there are some great creams that can minimise the dryness/splitting of skin. I bought some cotton gloves for his hands & rubbed the cream on of an evening & put the gloves on, so they 'worked their magic' overnight. .... and cotton socks for his feet, with the cream on them.
Our podiatrist suggested NS21 skin repair treatment (and gave us lots of free samples to try out) before I purchased the actual tubes/potions - and it really helped. Ask your ONC (and GP) to sign up for samples asap!

Our Onc (we shared the same Onc) also reduced the dose of Capecitabine to reduce side effects - but that may (or may not) happen with you.
