I am late to this one, as I have just jumped on to look up exactly what you're talking about. I have been ramping up my abemaciclib since March last year. In August 2025 my dose increased to 250mg a day..in September I noticed some hair fall. I mentioned it to my ONC in October and December. By mid December, I was inconsolable with my hair loss - it reminds me of Chemo. On 01 Jan this year, I put my dose back down to 200mg a day (100mg x 2 times daily) because I seemed to be doing ok at that dose. I am also on Exemestane and this combo (AI & Abemaciclib) makes hair loss worse - but I thought I had dodged it, because I didn't have any issues until my dose increased.
I have a LOT of hair although it has grown back slowly after chemo (probably because I have zero estrogen now). But I have patch spots where I have lost my hair. I've pretty devastated but hopefully the dose reduction will help.
