Second TC with cold cap - should I chop my hair shorter?
Hello - This is my first time posting and wondering if people had more success with cold capping with shorter hair? My hair is only shoulder length but there's been quite a lot of pain over the last 5 days and I've lost a lot of hair. Second (of 4) TC tomorrow.

Hello, I had 1 TC in August and cold capped. I had big clumps of hair fall out between days 14-19 post TC. There was not enough hair left to retain any hair style, including short , as the hair that remained was predominantly along my hairline. I found the experience of it falling out difficult but do not regret trying cold cap. I chose to immediately have taken what was left all off and purchased a wig similar to my hair colour and style. I feel good in it. It’s a difficult thing to navigate and a wig is not eveyones cup of tea or even financially viable. The main relief was to not have to keep experiencing the hair loss and discontinue the cold cap which was not a nice experience. All the very best to you and you are not alone.
