I'm having strong memories of my SNB sitting in the same waiting room this morning for a CT and bone scan. Unpleasant. I've avoided sitting in the same chair. Hardly anyone here today. That morning it was heaving with people. I trust this experience will be considerably less painful...

Good to keep busy! All good with my situation. Went to the physio this morning and she had the bone scan report. Nothing but some mild arthritis in my spine. The spot on my pelvis is nothing to worry about also.My mystery pain is from 3 damaged tendons and should improve over the next couple of weeks. Hopefully your news will be good and soon. It really is the waiting that makes it so hard! xxx

Isn't it amazing @kmakm that once upon a time we would have thought nothing of it. Oh yeah, the scans aren't back, there's probably nothing wrong anyway. Continue on with your day.Not any more though. That scared little rabbit hides in there ready to pop it's head up at any time. Case in point. After all my digging and what have you, my back and hip are really shot to bits. So off I toddle to the GP and she orders xray and u/s on hip, lower spine and sacro area. "Just to be sure, given the history."Now the sane and sensible side of me is there the majority of the time these days, so no worries going for the scans. Any normal, non cancery type person would be pretty sore and could have pulled all sorts of bits and pieces after that right?Three days later I am in the waiting room to get results. No problem. Not a thought anything was going to be seriously wrong....until.The lady in front of me comes out of the office. A few minutes go by and the doc still hasn't called me in yet. Silence. No shuffling of papers, no click click of the keyboard, nothing.Uh oh, here comes that rabbit twitching its scared little nose, where the heck did she come from?....Shit, feed that rabbit some carrots. It's fine, she's probably just reading the report or having a drink, coffee, what ever. Carrots, carrots, carrots. Why hasn't she called me in? Why is it taking so long? Maybe there's something she doesn't want to tell me. This is just taking far too long to be nothing etc etc. I can feel the tremble starting and my heart rate going up. The rabbit won't be quiet. Finally, after what felt like an eternity but was probably really less than 10 minutes, she calls me. "Sorry that took so long, I had to duck out to the ladies" She must have seen the look on my face because the first thing she says "You're ok, nothing serious, you've just torn a couple of muscles" Stupid rabbit. :wink: All the best lovely. xoxoxox

There were three spots on the liver and they were all cysts. SUCH a relief.However he found a 6mm growth on my gallbladder which will have to be monitored. He said it's probably a polyp but they don't biopsy them unless they're 10mm or more.It's a bummer about the gall bladder but at least I know. If there's a problem brewing they'll be on to it early. Gallbadder cancer is rare, and usually diagnosed at Stage 4 because it's symptomless until too late. So all in all my stance on scans remains the same: I'd rather have them than not.Current state of mind: phew!

Hang in there sweety pie... yeah, I remember that "Little pinch now" as the elephant sized needle approached my quivering in fear boob. The trauma stays tattooed on my inner self years later. ((((Biiiig Hug))))).

Thinking of you. Had CT and bone scan just last week and it does bring back those initial diagnosis memories big time. Hope all is good with the scans. Take care. xxx

@kmakm.....Awesome lovley....ah, who needs a gallbladder anyway? Probably one of the most common surgeries I see at work. If it plays up, just take it out LOL...seriously, so glad it's all good. xoxoxo

I’ve never entirely understood the body’s capacity to produce apparently useless excrescences such as polyps! But agree, better to know about them. So glad it’s all a relief. A.
