Hi Ann, not quite the same situation but I decided against taking them at all. Things I considered? My age 70, type of cancer, mucinous lower risk of recurrence, and probable impact of letrizole on everything else. I have multiple chronic illnesses and I want to live the life I have left. I took it for 11 days and honestly I just wanted to find the nearest cliff. So much pain. Yes it’s very much an individual decision. No one can tell you what to do but we can listen and respond. Two years out I’m still OK with my decision. And yep I still worry about having cancer again. I think that’s probably everyone. All my doctors were supportive. For me it reduces risk. It doesn’t remove it.
Thanks for your reply 😊 I’m on it before surgery & I don’t know why, something about blocking the estrogen.
the past day or so, I’ve noticed aches in my hips & body pain. Not sure if it’s connected to the Letrozole 🫤
I’m 68 (and a half), and I’m the same - I want quality of life. And yes most certainly an individual decision.
I do appreciate your reply 🌼
