Zoladex experiences
Hi everyone. Just started tamoxifen this year and the plan was to start zoladex once my menstrual periods returned (I'm 34). But onco said we can fast track that and start the injections sooner rather...

I am the same as JennyD above, it wasn't a problem. My first was with my Onc and then he was happy for my GP to administer the rest.
They have to be regular and mine was every 4 weeks x 26 so it took 2 years.
My GP always used a local first and he would alternate each month, left and right abdomen. I found the left side I would have a funny tummy for a couple of days and the right was fine! I think my body was still wanting to cycle and this injection said No you don't!!
Honestly you will be fine, I think it is more scary when these things are suggested and you don't know enough about it!
In the grand scheme of everything I went through this was okay! Make sure the appointments are regular. I always made the next appointment before I left so I wouldn't miss!
