I did have the nausea for the first few weeks and then it settled, not so the hot flushes and at times night sweats. My doctors have told me to try and loose weight as this should help but I know others that are slender and still have them so I think its just something we have to live with.
I was lucky I think with my income protection, once I was set-up and had the initial paperwork and test results all sent my payment went through no problems, each month I sent off a form that was signed by my GP stating my ongoing case and it was paid. When I had my Oophrectomy there was no issue at all my GP stated it was for precautioary reasons and they accepted that.
