I agree that it is side effects from lack of oestrogen but, of course, that is what the AI does. I was in menopause (officially) a few weeks before I started chemo although I had been all but for the previous year. I had very few problems from menopause but I have had so much since the remaining oestrogen has been stripped from my body. But I choose to look on this as hopefully meaning I'm having a good response to the drug. The problems are something I have to find out how to manage. At some stage I hope to have an AI holiday but my onc is not keen yet unless I just can't cope any more.
