As the author says, it’s a personal choice. Much depends on your particular cancer, individual reactions to treatment and of course quality of life. If I was in continual pain with an AI, I would chuck it too. Your oncologist can only advise on what may assist on keeping cancer at bay. You have to decide the rest, ready or not. I have never regretted chemotherapy and I may yet see Letrozole through to ten years, but that does not mean it’s right or even sensible for someone else. Living with that decision (in every way!) is the big question. ‘No regrets’ is the goal but not easy.
