I've had my port for 17 months now. I am so glad I got it for the Herceptin. My veins were really bad after only 2 rounds of docetaxol and cyclophosphamide. Now they have recovered and they have no problem getting blood out of my veins. I have another 18 months to go before I'll get it removed.
