Tamoxifen

Hi Everyone

I am nearing the end of my radiation (wohoo) and then I go back to the Oncologist. My first visit to him he said after radiation that I would go on the pill for five years. He didn't say which one but I guess it will be Tamoxifen. I have had many different opinions on this drug and not all good! I would like to hear others opinions on this. I have been thinking (just thinking!) about some sort of natural therapy instead of Tamoxifen. Has anyone else thought about doing it the natural way or is doing it the natural way? I look forward to some feedback ????

    I started on Tamoxifen in July last year. It is a worry but for me the chance of reoccurance was high.

    I am nearing my completion of Herceptin which I'm looking forward to.  Best of luck with your decision and your treatment ??

    Tamoxifen does carry risks, something I will have to discuss with my oncologist if he suggests it after I finish my chemo. There are other alternatives he can give you and you can discuss the pro and cons with those as well. I am not aware of any natural and proven  herbal remedies.
