- msg132MemberThanks for all your comments- I have moved to taking it in the morning and it seem to help with night time, too early to say though as its only second month.
- GreengirlMemberTook 6 months until I noticed fatigue. Also took me about 6 months for noticeable hot flushes but thankfully I don’t find them much of a bother so far 😬
- iserbrownMemberMy first time on Tamoxifen I settled into taking it at lunchtime and it helped.
- msg132MemberI used to feel dizzy at periods and very sleepy before I was diagnosed- after that these were replaced by surgery recovery tiredness...I am trying to changer the timing of taking the med to morning ( from early evening ) and see if it helps with hot flushes. Since it is recommended to take at the same time every day- I am doing it gradually... lets see
- RaichMemberI'm only a week inIt’s quite hard to judge at the moment as I’m recovering from surgery and just started my period... so who knows what is contributing to my symptoms!!
I had nausea a couple of days ago. But I noticed nausea with my last period too ( the joys of pre-menopause!) I’m hoping once I’m past the surgery recovery I’ll be able to identify the actual Tamoxifen side effects.Fingers crossed it’s nothing worse than the most common ones. - ddonMemberI have been on tamoxifen since beginning of June. I think my symptoms are just classic menopause - hot flashes, sweating on and off all night and my skin is dry. That’s it so far. I am finding it very easy and am so relieved because I was afraid to take it. I feel completely well and normal otherwise. Fingers crossed you will cope with it well.
