I too find that if I am mobile joint pain improves - I walk daily , attend a gentle stretch and balance class twice weekly as well as Encore a free hydrotherapy class provided by the YWCA available in a few states .I find if I sit around too much joint pain is much worse but activity seems to allow me to move past it ie it goes away after a while in an exercise session.I have had back , ankle and knee pain.I also have fluid retention in my lower legs which the daily walk helps considerably - I am on an aromatise inhibitor called Letrozole.Exercise has not come easily to me and some days is not easy to get going but it really does make a difference to me including how I am feeling about life.Oddly I have found after a while it’s part of my day I am keen to do - exercise seems to be somewhat addictive esp walking. PS I walk listening to music on my phone -
is agreat distraction from the task at hand as silence is not golden for me plus have just bought an armband for the phone on eBay so a lot easier with hands free
