Hi and welcome.
It's sadly quite common to find out some friends aren't at all supportive and yet other people become a tremendous support. It hurts. People think of bc as a bit of a pimple these days (if they have nobody close to them who has experienced it) I think the exposure and good survival rates make people think it's no more than that...rather than a genuine threat on your life. Only you can decide if this person is important to keep in your life. Many have decided to cut them loose...and focus on the people who really matter. Kath x.
