Tamoxifen - doubts???

You do just have to find out as much as you can and make the best decision for you. But remember that no one can tell you exactly why you got Breast cancer in the first place. I thought I was fit and healthy too. I was only 47 also. At an educated guess one of my doctors estimated that my Cancer had only been growing for less than 12 months (we only have mammograms at 12 month intervals even now). I could barely feel it and yet it had spread into my lymph nodes. I chose to think of Tamoxifen as the wonder drug that could just possibly save me from a secondary recurrence. But I guess having a 50% chance of recurrence helped me to feel this way. Good luck with your decision making. Take care. Deanne xxx
