slacko!

sorry guys, been a bit slack here with updates.

silly dizzy head from the surgery  ggrrrr.....so many things i will not have the opportunity to enjoy: dancing, driving, walking un-aided, helping run the house (yes-i am missing it), gardening BUT I will be able to have some quality (I hope) time with steve and the kids and prepare some private things for them,

meeting with oncologist 27/12.sooo, ct scan showed some progression, but on the upside no chemo over xmas...appt with oncol on th 27th for 'discussions' :) :) Trying daily pill of tamoxifen + 3 weekly infusion of herceptin for 6 weeks. Goal is now to keep me as well as possible for as long as we can  :)

Started all that regime last wednesday...we'll see what happens

Other more important things to do. But lovely to see your blog.

Me too, have wondered how you are? You have been in my thoughts.

Hope your oncologist appointment went well.

Take care and enjoy that quality time with loved ones.

Always in my thoughts and well wishes and jugs to you and your lovely family.

  • Dear Samantha

Thank you so much for staying in touch with us. I think of you often and am always wishing you, your lovely husband Steve (if he is a Steve like my Steve you are so very lucky) and your family all the best with lots of love and all the strength needed to get you all through this trying time.

I am so glad you had a chemo free christmas and I hope it was a lovely one for you all.

You know I am thinking of you and wishing you nothing but the best of everything.

    Lots of love

    Mich xoxo

  • I'm at the start of this journey (post surgery, chemo started yesterday), and reading your story from the very beginning, I can think of many words to describe you, and slacko is not one of them!

I'm so beyond sorry to hear there has been progression after you fighting the good fight for so many years with such heart.

Thanks for having the bravery to share your story with us all.

what special things do you have planned for your kids...or do they read your blog here and we have to stay shhh on this :-).
