Side effects hormone therapy
Well my surgery went well and I have been given the all clear YAY...I don't have to have radiotherapy but my next issue is weather to go onto hormone therapy...my surgeon discussed the side effect etc...
Pammy - I see taking Tamoxifen a little like taking the Pill many years ago. I was always reluctant but there was a reason for taking it. Put some thought into your questions as to the benefits of Tamoxifen or an alternate medication. Also you need to know and understand if ovary removal will solve the problem or not? I have a vaginal ultrasound on a regular basis to determine the health of the ovaries and any uterine changes.
Our treatment process is not easy but it is about the end goal, being cancer free!
