I was on tamaoxifen for about 12 months, I seen my oncologist last week and after discussion I'm now on Arimidex.

Thanks everyone for your words of encouragement. It certainly makes you feel better knowing others feel the same. I had the great news today that the scans are clear. I was so relieved. So I will keep going on with the Herceptin and Tamoxifen but can now look forward to Christmas ??

Thanks Jane, I'm glad that was a false alarm then but I bet it was nerve racking. I am finding Herceptin fine and will finish that in March. I am having problems with my nails being very weak but that's probably from the A/C and the Taxol. 

Best of luck for February Rowdy and I can imagine these tests are always going to make us nervous. How did you go on Tamoxifen?

Hi Had my 2nd mammo / U/S yesterday - and do we ever get over the anxiety - I'd say no.  For me I get a little stressed over all tests now - even ordinary blood ones!!!  Am waiting for my surgeon appt on Monday - they found a benign something or other on my good breast (according to technician) and an oily cyst and a dark spot "that could be fluid"on my cancer breast.  But I wasn't called back for 2nd mammo!!  So I am hoping that all is still well.  Honestly as soon as they do the measuring in U/S I break out in a panic - heart racing etc - I so remember all the measuring the first time - click, click, click.  Good luck with yours.
