Pacitaxol and taste loss
hi all i am wondering if anyone experienced a loss of taste/ dry mouth on Taxol, how long after finishing were you able to taste food, I have three weeks left on chemo, and can’t really taste anythin...
Hi @Spillsy - I'm just one treatment in on AC - still have 3 to go then 12 x taxol but I've found the biggest side effect for me even at this early stage is in my mouth. I still have taste buds but my tongue always feels coated and I'm craving vegemite toast (for the salt) and refrigerated tinned fruit (for the sweet and cold). I'm following your experience with a great deal of interest! Looking forward to being where you are now, and seeing the light at the end of the treatment tunnel.
