On the Tamoxifen Train
Finally bit the bullet and took my first tamoxifen today. Took it without food and no nausea so that’s something. Will just have to see how this next phase goes!!

- kezmuscMemberHey @Sister. The break does do you good. I had 13 weeks between chemo and HT. Felt really good for the majority of it even though I was doing rads for 6 weeks of it. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

- Kiwi_AngelMember@Joannie - thanks - have been on it for 2 days and nothing really so far but don't expect side effects to kick in that quickly - might have been abit more flushed last night and didn't sleep as well but that can very from night to night anyway. Finger crossed xoxoxoxSign in to react to this post

I'm really hoping that I can recover from chemo well enough before any hormone therapy. My oncology says I'm doing really well - if this is well, what the f@#k is bad?Sign in to react to this post - Kiwi_AngelMember@Zoffiel. I think this BC experience has made me generally more hyper vigilant. I’m really hop ing that I don’t really get any side effects. Small things I can deal with - I have just been enjoying feeling like myself again. That’s why I wanted to give myself a few weeks break so I knew if I got any side effects is it a hangover of the chemo or something from the tamoxifen. I so try and take everything with a grain of salt though, I know everyone who I’ll be completely different in their experiences. I’m most concerned about mood changes as I went on a pill several years ago that made me really depressed. xoxoxoSign in to react to this post
