@jennyss thank you, yes I saw that...however Dr Richard De Boer is my actual Oncologist LOL, so he and I were only communicating a few weeks ago and particularly about the AI's uuugh! I see him in a months time. I won't be listening to this Webinar, moreso as in 8yrs Ive been on Tamoxifen, Arimidex, Aromasin and will be going to Letrozole in a month for my final 18 months. Tamoxifen didn't work for me, nor treatment having had a recurrence after 4yrs, not even Mr De Boer can answer why, apart from Tamoxifen has learnt to adapt so in 1/3 of cases it doesn't work. In terms of an AI, for me it's only like 1% or so added protection, so not much. It's because of my recurrence that he urges me to take it. Have to be guided by your Oncologist, he did say majority of women stop their medication prior to the 5yrs due to side effects, he has urged me not to. He does understand about compromised quality of life however doesnt offer any suggestions as his job I guess is to provide treatment. x
