I wonder if the same thing as you use for Chicken Pox would help calm it down, like pine tarsol baths and calamine lotion.
There is hydrocortisone cream from the chemist too, I find it helps with allergic reactions that itch like crazy, such as ant or March fly bites.
I would be very hesitant about the next round of Chemo too, the reaction would have freaked me out.
Some of the side effects we experience are not always common.
Mine are severe headaches with FEC, brought on with the C bag and lasting several days. I also have a lot of body shaking. The Onc just looks puzzled.
