  • thats very good actually, just thought I would double check as there are a lot of things not on the MBS that really should be. Talked to the breast care nurse yesterday re chemo and she said i was probably not the best candidate if other options would be exhausted first. should be pleased I suppose but it worries me. The problem is the way it impacts the immune system and she said that because i am in communal living, a nursing home of 60 plus, and that I have a chronic pressure sore and kidney infections, that it would have to be something they factor in to my treatment. think will just have the other lopped off and be done with it all!
  • I hate going to the chemist all the time so I get my Nolvadex-D 20mg (tamoxifen) in a 60 script which lasts 2 months. It costs $27.98 at chemist warehouse.
  • Ok im a $6 script person too. Thank God for small mercies lol
  • I have a health care card eventhough I work LOL and same pay $6 a script yippee!! LOL
  • Hi I've been on Arimidex, Femera & Tamoxifen. As you know I'm on a disability pension. I paid $6 something for each of my scripts

  • @bevvzy I was on Arimidex (Anastrozole) its was $38.60 most places but Chemist Warehouse was $20.00. They must have better buying power. Cate
  • Hi @bevvzy, yes they are covered. I started Femara 6 weeks ago & I think I paid about $37.00 for a month but I remember some other ladies had sourced them cheaper.
