Hair growth
Is this the first blog on hair growth?
6 weeks has past since last TCH chemo but still doing herceptin. No sign of new hair growth? Had a double mastectomy last week which I suppose very stressful...
I had TC chemo and it is harder on your hair follicles ( so my oncologist said).It was 10 wks before the first hair sprouted on my head.I was so relieved.So give it more time.It's not easy being bald and breastless.I lost my identity for awhile there.I had a mastectomy 4 years ago and I wear a prosthesis.It takes a little getting used to but I'm ok with it.It's probably easier to have no breasts rather than being lopsided.I don't know so you can tell me when you've healed.You'll feel so much better when the drains come out.Good luck,big hug.Tonya xx
