Hi Bluebell-1 - I can completely understand why this would feel unsettling, especially after your menopause was confirmed and it has been more than seven months since your last period. I'd suggest that you contact your breast care nurse, GP, or oncology team sooner rather than later and let them know what is happening. They can advise on the most appropriate next steps and whether any investigations are needed.
Given that the bleeding is heavy, and you are feeling anxious about this, speaking to a healhcare professional today might feel right for you rather than waiting the 6 weeks to see your oncologist again. You could ring Nurse-On-Call on 1300 60 60 24 (free 24/7 service), describe the situation and a registered nurse can advise the bext next steps for you. Wishing you all the best Bluebell-1 periods are no fun - especailly when they were already meant to be over!!!

Thank you. I have made contact with the breast care nurse who is going to liaise with my oncologist and get back to me.
Thanks for the support. It is so good to have a reliable community to reach out to 🙏
