Hi @Abbydog
I’m not on Exemestane, I’ve been on Letrozole (Femara) for almost nine years. I experienced some unusual shedding about a year after my hair grew back (no cold cap, lost it all). Consultations with my hairdresser, GP and a dermatologist were somewhat inconclusive, but the most likely reason was a change, possibly triggered by chemo hair loss and regrowth, in my normal
shed pattern. Hair loss was mainly from the crown, no patches but a lot of hairs when I brushed. I took biotin, treated my hair very carefully (combing, no brushing) and it stabilised. Haven’t had the problem since, although I shed more hair than I used to but still well within a normal range. A dermatologist might be worth a try - if only to rule out other potential causes. Best wishes for some reassuring answers.
