Dizzy Blonde- V confused ER+, PR- and HER2+
Right girlies,
on a positive note. I have just came back from the my post op consiltation. They have removed a 25m tumour and my lymph nodes were clear. So I have stage 1 grade 3 breast cancer.
I'm sure the surgeon said it was estrogen positive receptive cancer. He mentioned that estrogen encouraged the cancer cells to rapidly grow. I'm now confused as he mentioned that I wont need hormone therapy as it doesnt respond well. I thought it was only estrogen negative that didnt. Maybe Iv got my wires crossed but Im sure he said estrogen positive. Confused!!!

- All the very best Gilliann, you are amongst a strong girlie bond here and we will all support you on your journey, although none of us wanted to take this journey I am pretty sure we have all found heaps of positive outcomes from this experience, and you will too. Can you believe already you have NEW bosom buddies all over the country. Ask lots of questions. I found it very theraputic to keep a daily diary of all that occurred during my treatment time. I can now look back in awe of what I went through and how I handled each situation, sometimes badly but most of the time pretty ok and have come out the other end of the 18months as a new me, evolves slowly each day.
