Yes, I guess that is why they referred to an oncologist after the initial pathology but before mastectomy,ie they already knew the grade etc from core biopsy. I haven't seen him though, surgeon said they were having a team meet this week? the surgeon is not very forthcoming, ie when I ask him something I feel like he is being patronising, he never gives a full reply. Like when I first saw him I already knew grade 3 IDC and had a huge list of questions. I went to ask him and he butted in and said, let me tell you what you need to know and when Im finished, if there is anything you still want to know ask then, I felt uncomfortable so shut up then. Now when I was in hospital and he popped in the next morning and told me that he didn't just remove the sentinel but levels one and two as palpably suspicious, I went to ask somethings and he laudr ghed and said no Dr Google!!!! I only Dr googled as I never felt comfortable to ask him the questions I had. anyway it wasnt
