Arimidex and periods
Hi All, I've been on Arimidex for approx 3 years. I'm 51, double mastectomy, chemo & radio. The last few days I've been experiencing what I think is a period. It looks and feels like one. Has anyone had this happen?

I didn't get to speak to my onc today in the end. Am looking forward to what he says. Not sure what's happening to my poor hormones x - My oncologist told me that this happens surprisingly often. K xox
- I know these hormone blockers can muck with our systems in many ways. It’s frustrating for you when you can’t see your dr when you need to - the phone consults are really good I have found.
- Hi Thanks - yes I can't see him at the moment easily because he's in QLD but I'm booked for a phone consult this afternoon. Fingers crossed all OK x
- Hi Marin. I can’t tell you about Arimadex, but I am on tamoxifen and my oncologist told me that if I get a period to call him. So I am guessing a check with your dr is in order.
