Hi
Thank you for accepting me into your group. My tumor was found in my left breast in March this year(Stage 2a grade 3, oestrogen+ and her2+ ) and I had a nipple sparing Mastectomy 1 week later. Since then I have had 3 rounds of FEC and only one more to go and then a break of 5 weeks (going on holidays to celebrate) before starting Taxol and hercepton.
I choose to just look at the next treatment instead of the whole picture as it seems more manageable that way.
It is so wonderful how much support I have received from my medical team and this website.

If I have learnt one thing during this journey and it is that no matter how much you pray, worry, yell, scream or jump up and down whilst waiting for results or more tests it is not going to change the outcome of what will or will not be confirmed or found.
Try to relax and not stress about it too much. Having said the above with conviction I am still going to say a quick prayer for you and cross everything!!!!!lol! (old habits are hard to break).
Please let me know of your progress.
I am jetting off for a long awaited holiday to Italy next thursday if I stay well, ( a rest before more intensive chemo on my return), but will have internet access. Keep in touch.

- Lucky you to have a break! Mine also was triple positive to left breast. No breaks for me 4x ac, 4 taxol then concurrent radiotherapy for 7 weeks and herceptin infusions every third week for a year 8 years cancer free although do have lymphoedema. Hope todays nuclear scan doesn't find anything requiring further action. Your pink sister, carol
