Thanks nice to know someone else has the same sensible talk yet doubts.
In my case i know mums 1st secondary was in her pelvic bones after 15 years cancer free. Ive only had 8!
Now living on my own so don't have the wonderful support my late father was to my Mum. Didn't want him to nurse me anyway he'd already done it for his father, later his mother and finally my mother his wife of 50+ years before succumbing to heart disease last year.
If only my exhusband had taken a leaf of his own fathers love and support of his wife of 50 years through her many ailments culminating in multiple myeloma or better yet that of my father in supporting as above instead of disappearing and leaving his teenage sons to cook meals etc when i was sick then complaining i hadn't baked him a birthday cake the week of my first chemo!
Anyway what will be will be. Had a lovely lunch today and going to jazz at a local club with same group tomorrow. Wish i was able to afford a holiday but cant have everything!
Your pink sister,
Carol
