Aching legs
Hello ladies!!!I I was wondering if anyone on Tamoxifen has experienced aching calf muscles during the night. Almost like a cramp? I haven't changed anything else,so can't work out what it would be from. Thanks in advance for any replies! Cheers xox Robyn

- That's great. I know I can easily not drink enough water some days, especially in winter. I will also be more conscious of it. It's important for my fluid issues too! Hope this continues to work for you. :) Deanne xxx

- What are you taking Celebrex for? You mentioned your neck,and I was just wondering if you have pain in that area.I have a sore neck that I am used to now! I had a bone density scan recently,and was diagnosed with osteoporosis that is quite advanced.I had no clue.My neck though is not related to that I don't think,because when I went to the osteo clinic he said that it is predominantly a painless disease, unless you break a bone.I am going to mention my neck to my oncologist when I see her first week in September.Take care.xoxRobyn
- Good morning ladies! I am happy to report that last night,after 3 days of magnesium morning and night,and a conscious effort to drink 2 litres of water a day,I actually slept through the night with not one leg cramp or ache.I feel so pleased and hope that it is just not a fluke!!!!Cheers xoxRobyn
I am interested in your blood works, who has ordered these for you? My oncologist is the only one who orders blood tests, and seems to only do the basic. Have not heard of copper levels, which is something we should be watching for the rest of our lives, especially if it is linked to oestrogen levels.

Other supplements I am taking are:
Adaptan for adrenal support
Zinc Citrate - bloods indicated I have low serum zinc and elevated copper. Elevated copper is linked with high oestrogen.
MethylCobalamin - bloods indicated low B12.

Been going ok on it. Nothing out of the ordinary in the way of side effects just the hot flushes and leg aches really.
Im very emotional though and ive really noticed it in the last week. im wondering if thats also a side effect?

- I was on tamoxifen for over a year and the cramping disappeared eventually but leg aches continued , I found monthly leg massages by my therapist were a life saviour the good old heat packs as well, this worked for me. Adean xx
