Like many of you I have had cramps off and on for 2 decades. I know that like my knee which has a metal plate and screws in it if i get cold knee aches and more likely to get cramps which were much worse for the fjrst year or two on Arimidex (up to 8 years)
My solution is to always wear sox much to my ex husbands disgust but at least it helps somewhat.
Now i am also going to try to get some magnesium
Re iodine. I have a thyroid function.....blood test each year when i get my annual checks done but never done a urine one so again will ask gp for this in spring.
Re lower back ache. After a nuclear scan and expensive MRI the conclusion is that at 58, it just is degenerative changes consistent with my age so just put up with it. Don't want to start on arthritis drugs anyway because one caused issues with my lymphoedema. Oh well it certainly is much much better than the secondary I feared I had!
