Zoladex

Morning all - just wondered if any of you are on the combination of Zoladex injections and Tamoxifen?  My side effects are minimal however I am finding that the period has re-appeared and not disappeared as I had anticipated.  Just wondered if anyone else found this.  In between times it is a uterine bleed which my GP has commented; that is not unexpected.  The injections are monthly for 2 years.

I am very aware reading posts that our treatments and reactions are different and for me the journey has been smooth compared to a lot that I have read on here. 

Just the frustration of feeling yuk with all the discomfort that a period can bring.

    Hi Christine

    I am starting Zoldex and Aromasin after I finish radiation. I would be talking to your Oncologist or breast care nurse or other cancer specialists rather than GP who is not a specialist in the Cancer area. To my limited knowledge a bleed could indicate oestrogen in your system which may cause your cancer to come back. There is also a small chance with Tamoxifen side effect of uterine cancer so you really need to get checked out hope this helps. Heather
