Yes I cut mine short on Christmas Eve when it started to fall. Shaving it all off on NY day was still a bit of a shock. I was surprised how resentful I was about it! But it was very patchy and itchy and it's time was up! As we are still on Saigon, my husband trimmed it to a number 1 buzz cut with his beard trimmer. My advice is keep the pixie cut as long as possible.
Have used the wig once but it is too hot for here. Was grateful I had preordered chemo hats and caps to wear.
Yes I am happy but also apprehensive for round 2. At least I know what to expect this time.
