I went into have my PICC line dressed this morning and ended up staying for 21/2 hours! I had a slight temp which prompted them to remove the PICC to rule it out as the source of the infect...

Hi Al, feel free to grumble away to ur hearts content right here..this is what we are for. Us girls know exactly how u feel and at times we need to grumble too..
I've not had a PICC line-i have a chest port, definately a better option for me, maybe consider it for u if u have more infection issues with the new line..Ports can be removed again when ur done.
Its good hubby wants to be home with u..prob peace of mind for him. My Steve comes to all appointments with our oncologist-an extra pair of ears in the room and my memory seems to be hopeless sonce chemo-bit like pregnancy brain-have u experienced that yet?? if not, u prob will!
Anyway, u take care and i hope u don't get any more infection problems
