Yesterday was 14 days...

Hi Sam I lost my hair pretty much as you have described on day 14 after first dose of FEC. I had not shaved my head though I had cut it short. Very messy! I quickly had it shaved that day but found my head was very sore for about a week as the hair continued to fall out. At least you know the Chemo is working and hopefully having just as big an effect on any cancer cells lurking around! I had the same problem with throat and mouth ulcers too. I just used warm salty water and brushed my teeth with bi-carb toothpaste. Good news though, the second dose of Chemo did not result in any mouth ulcers or sore throat so far (day 13). Still using salt and bi-carb though! Hope you find it better next time too! x Deanne
