Yeah I had my last chemo on friday 25 February 2011. So Glad thats over.
I see plastic surgeon on 14/3/2011 when to set the date about tissue expander removal and having my silicon implants reconstruction.
I go back on 25/3/2011 to see doctors to start tamoxifen.

Jo it is so good to here from you again. I am sorry to hear you have not had such a great time. Hang in there girl. I know its hard when you still got 3 months of treatment. Please come on here again, we would love to talk to you. Don't forget to give yourself special treats, such as massage, going out with friends or even just eat chocolate.
I treat myself to Ice Magic, even though I have put on 4 kilos while on chemo. Normally I will beat myself up for pigging out. I do feel a little bit guilty but I figure I have been through a lot I deserve it. I love Ice Magic on icecream. Just the ice magic not the icecream. I like ice cream but love ice magic. So I cover the ice cream with Ice magic, eat it and then cover the ice cream again with ice magic and eat it. Yummy. Thats my treat.

wow congratulations Dot..Im so jealous...I still have 8 weekly chemo treatments to go and then 6 weeks of radio therapy and am feeling quite low about it at the moment. I havent been on here for ages as I have been immersed in my treatmet and generally feeling sorry for myself.
It must be a great feeling that you have put horrible chemo behind you for good(touch wood) Im so happy for you. You sound like you are in a good happy place and i look forward to getting there soon.

Good for you Dot. I have two to go. then 12 months of Herceptin and 5 years of tamoxifen. Its good to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Hope all goes well with your recon.

Congratulations on the end to your chemo. At the end of August I too will hopefully be singing about the end of my chemo. I have to finish radiation then will start chemo late April. I figure the sooner it starts the sooner I will be finished. Good luck with your future surgery. XLeonie
